Arianna Huffington

Arianna Huffington, is know as the co founder of the largest news website The Huffington Post. In 2009, Arianna was named as number 12 in Forbes’ first-ever list of the Most Influential Women In Media. In 2011 she was named to the Time 100, Time Magazine’s list of 100 most influential people.

In 2011, AOL acquired The Huffington Post for US$315 million and made Arianna Huffington president and editor in chief of The Huffington Post Media Group.

In the below TED talk, she shares a small secret that has the potential to cultivate big ideas. The secret to getting a good night’s sleep. I agree with her on this, ideas come only when your mind is alert and you are active.

The way to a more productive and joyful life is getting enough sleep. What are your thoughts ?

Have a Happy Sunday and a great week ahead 🙂

Can’t agree more about getting good sleep – it keeps your mind calm, alert and productive. A good night’s sleep gives you the power to push yourself during the day.

And I also get a side benefit of good sleep – sometimes, I get ideas through my dreams! Not very often, but it does happen. Awesome, isn’t it?

Sleep is very essential to us, it is imperative that we get enough and quality sleep in order to be productive and efficient in our daily tasks. Oversleeping can loose much more stamina compared to getting less sleep. It is important that we get just enough sleep each night.

Yes if we want to increase our productivity then we should try to get enough sleep in night like 6 to 7 hours sleep in a day is enough to stay fit.

Very good idea of getting more sleep, that can help in more productivity. I always advice my friends and husband to get at least enough sleep everyday. Sleep early and wake up early better than sleep late and wake up early or late. hahaha..
