Twitter has added more ammunition in the form of analytical tools to drive targeted ads to their users and give a robust platform to its advertisers. The new audience insights dashboard now offers insights on user demographics, interests, purchase behaviour and much more.
“Personas” will also be added to the dashboard to give advertisers insights on relevant groups of users on twitter and how best they can be targeted.
The new information is available under “View audience insights”, if you’re doing a paid campaign on Twitter, use this option to drive better engagement with your audience.
A comparison can also be made between reached and engaged audience on the tool. This will give you a broad understanding on how many users were reached with your promoted tweet or promoted hashtag and how many of them actually interacted or engaged with the tweet.
Engagement = Replying with a retweet or Retweeting or Favouring a tweet or click to your landing page.
