Featuring at the top of social networking sites or other blogs has been an effective online marketing technique for some time now. Its similar to trying to feature on the first page of digg or other such sites. Whilst it can be difficult to move to the top of digg , other niche sites such as the one mentioned here may be more achievable. Thank you for sharing this with us. I might give this one a try.

I've been mentioned on his site a couple times (various contests to even the DotComPho) but traffic was usually minimal for me. I would be interested in a final update, maybe end of the month or so. of the John Chow post effect. I find it funny because I saw the post for the $27 but did not visit. Then saw the John Chow post for the Toronto Pho meet and visited. So, for me it was the Pho post that had me visit, and now, also a RSS subscriber. BTW- I still do not know what Pho is... I'm not 100% sure but I think they do monthly updates so it should happen soon. It will be interesting to see the results from that exposure. I've left a couple comments on JohnChow's blog but I find it harder to leave quality comments on his posts than I do on other blogs so I usually don't comment at all.
