Good Morning Sunday: If you’ve never Failed, you’ve never Lived

Dismissed from drama school with a note that read, “Wasting her time, she is too shy to put her best foot forward.”

Turned down by a record company that said, we don’t like their sound, the guitar music is on their way out.

A failed solider, farmer and real estate agent, at 38 years old, he went to work for his father as a handyman.

Cut from the high school basketball team, he went home, locked himself in a room and cried.

A teacher told him he was too stupid to learn anything and he should go into a field where he might succeed by virtue of his pleasant personality.

Fired from a newspaper because he lacked imagination and had no original ideas.

His fiancee died, he had a nervous breakdown and he was defeated in eight elections.

7 Failed instances, 7 all time Greats…..If you’ve never failed, you’ve never lived.

Have a Happy Sunday and a Great Week Ahead 🙂

I think that experience is not the best experience but failure is it is the best teacher. If you fail you learn.

I like the way Thomas Edison looks at failure! It can definitely take you to greater heights when looked at in a positive way. What cant kill you can only make you stronger! Mary

Failure is the best teacher. Only if we fail, we realize the importance of success and learn to value it. Otherwise, arrogance takes over. I have very much seen it in me and a lot of my friends too...

In failing is where one can learn. Let's refer to it as learning through experiences. We sometimes want to learn things the hard way. At this point when one errs, I truly believe the mistake will never be committed again.

Failure is just a part of life – it’s typically happened in your past, and do not let it dominate your present and even your future. The lessons it teaches us are what’s important in the end. Learning from our failures/mistakes and doing something about it is the wise thing to do.

Zubin: Great descriptive powers; this pulled me right in. Took a sales course once and actually learned a lot which is quite something for an admitted know-it-all. One thing that really stuck with is that most sales people close 2 out of 10 sales which means you need to endure the 8 no's to get to the 2 yes's. (Is that how you punctuate yes's? Oh well.) If you think about it that way, it relieves a whole lot of pressure. Best, Karen
