Sometimes when you innovate, you make mistakes. It is best to admit them quickly, and get on with improving your other innovations. – Steve Jobs
Even the iconic Steve Jobs had his share of failures, not all Apple products have been successful.
The Mac Lisa in 1983, the NeXT company that Jobs created after being let go from Apple, The Apple III disaster, the Power Mac G4 cube are just some of Steve Jobs’ failures.
But that did not deter him from creating and innovating, the last 10 years have seen some of the best products from the Apple stable – The ipod, the iphone, the ipad and the ipad mini are just some of them.
The below video is a rare footage from an interview with Steve Jobs, conducted by the Santa Clara Valley Historical Association. This was when Steve founded NeXT computers in 1988.
In this short video clip, Steve Jobs gives one common reason for failure. He says most people fail because they don’t ask.
He gives his own example of how he asked for help from Bill Packard when he was 12 and that gave him his first break at Hewlett Packard.
Ask and you shall receive.
Have a Super Sunday and a Great week ahead 🙂
