Hi ZK. I have been trying to figure out if having a motel/hotel affiliate program on my travel site would be good. There are many programs out there and it seems really confusing - you can basically find good, bad, and indifferent posts and information about every one. The fact that you use this program and recommend it is a good start for me, as it suggest it is something good for me to at least check out. I wonder if you would be willing to share a bit if you have tried any other hotel affiliate programs and if you have, why you decided they were not good (I'm basically wondering if you have any advice about what to watch out for, in terms of "this is not a good deal.") Hi Don, You should choose affiliate programs based on destinations in the travel industry. The decision would be based on the destinations you are targeting, I've used worldres.net for booking European hotels, if you are targeting European destinations you should check it out. For Indian desitiantion check out resnetindia.com , US and Canada check out Hotels.com , Asiarooms.com and Asiahotels.com is good for South Asian destinations. Asiarooms.com also has good deals for Australia and New Zealand hotels I would check the reputation of the consolidator and the number of hotels on the site. Strictly US for me but that is interesting that different locations around the globe have different best programs. I guess I am a bit confused though now.....there must be some distinction you are making between what hotels.com offers versus hotelscombined.com Are these not both potentially good programs that fill the same need, i.e. are providers of hotel reservations that I can feature on my site? Both of the sites hotels.com and hotelscombined.com are good programs, the room rates would be different depending on the best deal that they get from the hotels. wow... 70% is a massive amount to earn, but then again, a holiday is a very large purchase which must be thought about for quite some tine - the 12 month cookie is therefore excellent and should be taken advantage of!

This sounds like a good affiliate program to be a part of. Accommodation is much researched and sought after online. Trying to find the best value for money in the best areas can mean a big saving in costs and more money for other things. but you shouldn't have to give up comfort and cleanliness just to get a cheaper price either. Be careful and check out other places for reviews other than the actual accommodation site. Talk to others who have traveled and try to identify a common thread in the various accommodation opportunities available.

I used to use HotelsCombined program but did not like the CPC revenue model - a few pence here and there was no good and revenues were low. I switched to sletoh.com, a much smaller site with only 75,000 hotels in Europe compared to HC's worldwide 250,000+ but they pay CPA and I only needed European hotels. I earn more so I am happy :)

This a great program and I started making money right off the bat. They do not offer a program for signing up new affliates. But this allows them to offer more commision anyways. Best affliate program I have work with.
