Canada today celebrates Remembrance Day.

Remembrance Day (also known in Canada as Poppy Day) commemorates civilians and military personnel who lost their lives in armed conflicts.

Many people across Canada wear artificial poppies on their clothes in the weeks before Remembrance Day. Red poppies signifies the memories of Canadian soldiers who gave their lives for freedom.

Hi, Wonderful post and yeah its an awesome and remembrance day. However iam not from canada but i do believe in the peace.

In Europe, more specifically UK, we have a similar occasion - a day in which we remember all those that died in the war fighting for freedom.
