Finally, after months of hard work you are reaping that rewards of having a popular blog. You’ve achieved better traffic volume but how do transform this traffic into loyal readers? The internet is littered with so many tutorials and e-books that teach us how to get visitors but they always fall short in getting us to where we want to go. These don’t really tell us the real story of how to keep this readers coming back.
What your site probably misses is that intangible factor called credibility. Instead of making readers feel that you’re just another one of the millions of blogs out in the internet, why don’t you make them feel that you are genuinely interested in offering them something that can make their lives better? What better way to improve credibility than to use your content.
Build credibility
– Content marketing is using knowledge to show people that you are an expert in your field. If you are selling stamps for example, you can write an article about grading antique stamps. This way you are providing the information that readers are looking for and at the same time creating an excellent opportunity to make a sell.
Who wouldn’t want to buy from people who actually know their stuff? So if you’re having problems getting the sales going, here are some tips on how you can make content marketing work for you.
Share your knowledge with a nice touch of copywriting
– If you are reading this article until this point, I am probably doing a great job of copywriting. This is what you have to do: present your expertise in an interesting way. Catch the elusive attention of internet readers by making them feel that they are chatting with an interesting person.
Post quick tips and trivia on social networks
– Show people that you know a lot about your niche with one-line tips or trivia. Don’t use social networks merely to advertise. Make it a fun and informative experience for your readers. Sharing your knowledge and making learning a pleasant experience helps build trust and genuine appreciation for your site.
Let them know that you’re human
– Technical writing is informative but is extremely boring. Why not share interesting and funny anecdotes that are related to your niche? Just don’t go overboard or face the risk of losing some hard earned credibility.
