Twitter has announced the launch of it’s official wordpress plugin for blogs and websites on wordpress.
The plugin offers a suite of twitter related applications that include twitter cards, embedded tweets and video. the tweet share button, analytics, twitter advertising and a base library.
The plugin is available in 28 languages and is aimed to grow your twitter influence. If you’re a worpress or a PHP developer the plugin can be accessed from the Github.
I like two of the plugin features
1) The tweet button can be added from the admin panel, the plugin automatically configure to include – the URL of the post, site and author Twitter accounts, custom share text and hashtags specific to each post.
2) The plugin also makes it easy to add a follow button to your theme’s widget area.
The Twitter plugin will help you build your influence and establish yourself to be a though leader in a specific niche.
