Design Crowd ran a contest last month where bloggers had to write a post about Design Crowd and about their contest, the blog that got the highest number of tweets would be the winner.
I am happy that this blog got over 200 tweets for the contest post ( 205 to be exact )and was declared the winner. I want to thank all of you for tweeting the post and helping us win $1000.
The prize money will be used to enhance the user experience on the blog, we recently did a major face lift for this blog where we fully customized the blog on the Thesis Theme. In the coming months we plan to move this blog to a VPS hosting with Hostgator which will cost us between $39.95 and $69.95 a month. This is a significant investment but I believe it will only enhance the user experience with faster download speed
I will soon hold a contest to give back the remaining part of the prize money.
Thank you once again for making this blog a regular part of your daily life.

Nice post ZK and congrats on winning. It’s nice to see people saying ‘Thank you’. I respect bloggers/people more who thank their community.
Thank you also for giving back to your readers what you have won from that contest. Most other people would’ve just spent that on other things if they had that amount.

Congrats ZK! You’ve done a great job on the contest! I’m thinking to switch my hosting to VPS hosting, but the price is high for me and I have to pass at this moment. Anyway, it’s still under consideration.
