Download WordPress version 2.9.2

Wordpress released its 2.9.2 version, it seems like a security update for the wordpress CMS system. There does not seem to be any major changes in the admin panel with this update. However I recommend you to update to the latest version to avoid your blog being hacked.

I’ve noticed that the version 2.9.1 had a feature where you could look at trashed posts that belonged to other authors who write for the same blog. This version reverses the feature, now with this version you can only see your trash post. Have you noticed any other features in the new update ?

Yea i saw that it was quite good to see regular updates from Wordpress. It would be good if they integrate WPMU too

I recently Started blogging and when I install Wordpress my hosting installed 2.9.1 instead of 2.9.2. And I had to manually upgrade the wordpress to the latest version. though it was not tough though initially I thought of it as quite scary. .-= Blogger Affiliate´s last blog ..Hello world! =-.

It seems that the primary cause for this latest update was the fact that the thrash can's contents were visible to all and sundry who has access to the backend. It seems quite minor, as it would only affect a fraction of blogs, right?
