The Internet marketing business is a very competitive one. The best part about being in the Internet business is that you can basically create your own service, much like creating your own product – and as long as it works you will be golden.
The downfall of this however, are the uncertainties of how you will get from point A to point B exactly. One thing is for sure, and that’s with almost all cases – whatever works on a small scale does not always work on the large scale.
You will have to remember this if you want to succeed in your business, whether it be Internet marketing – or any other type of business. I can only speak about Internet marketing from experience, but I’m sure that the following pertains to all sorts of types of businesses.
You Will Never Use the Same Techniques as When You Started
For example, when you first begin your blog, you are usually doing everything on a very small scale and with the minimum amount of people that it takes to keep a blog active. What does this do? This allows everyone involved to get a clear view of exactly what needs to be done to get from point A to point B in whatever service it is that you provide -whether it be content creation, link building, web development, or many of the other Internet marketing services available.
Everyone involved will probably have there own specific specialties, but will also probably know just enough about what the other person is doing so that he could jump right in whenever need be.
This is great when you first start out because everyone gets an idea of what is going on and everybody learns a lot. But these systems of getting things done require a lot of man work and less “systems.”
Whenever you have people doing many different things at the base level, then you should realize that this system is not going to work when you start to try to conquer volume.
Identify Things You Can Outsource and Automate
This will never happen without trial and error. Trial and error is absolutely necessary when working out the kinks. Now that you have gone through the whole process of building a blog, it is possible that you may have some “blinders” on as to what other people can do when you hire them without extensive extensive training.
Remember – you’ve probably been in the industry for a couple years now and it is going to take a LONG time for someone without any experience to know and get everything that you do. When you identify jobs, break down what you do in steps.
Each step should theoretically be a job in itself. Starting from that angle you will be able to work out the kinks from there. Identify any steps that you think you can outsource to any other companies, or even freelancers. Lastly, identify things you can automate.
You do this by creating systems that help you better collaborate with others. With out good internal working systems, you will find that most of your work will be communicating with other on job details, descriptions, and action items. Without automating collaboration, your business will have a hard time scaling up.
Start Hiring For Work
One of the first people you want to talk to is a programmer. When you’re not a programmer, and you are grinding it out day by day, you aren’t even aware of all of the steps that you can eliminate with the right program. Little tid-bits here and there will be missed, and you will wind up missing the boat huge with out this angle of thinking.
Even if the programmer can’t really do anything for you, a nice long talk with him will get your mind going and will help you in deciding on how you want to go about automating everything – or making the whole process better.
As far as hiring more employers, as long as you have identified the steps that you need to get done you will be able to identify titles for jobs. Some good people to hire when your just starting to scale up are Data Entry People, Writers, Communication Managers, and assistants.
There is no guide that you can follow that will guarantee your success when trying to scale up your business. Many Internet marketing businesses have fell under when trying to scale up because of one of two things: Either A) what they were trying to scale up for was impossible to do or B) they were trying to do what they did on a small scale on a large scale.
Make sure you are asking yourself all the right questions when you are in scale up mode.

Companies are often afraid to hire help, but it can be so freeing and really a great tool for launching companies forward.
Outsourcing is one of the most important things when you are serious about your blog or website. Because no matter how much you try you will never be able to do all things right and in a timely fashion.
Also, having little tools that help you do all those tedious, daily and repetitive tasks can free your time. Which means more time you can concentrate on what matters, writing your articles and establishing connections!
I agree. Outsourcing the right jobs at right time is very important.
I think every business takes a little bit different approach and tweaks but the fundamentals are all the same.

Still “trial and error” is the Big concept behind go forward but many times we meet a client with ‘sure commitment ” and deadlines
Starting a business is difficult, but it is even more difficult scaling up and maintaining the success. One of the thing we need to do is to outsource.
I agree with outsorucing, but you have to wigh up the pro’s and con’s. You WILL most likely loose control and quailty from outsorucing – And… if you want a run a quailty blog around your business, is it really worth it?
It would still depend on the company. What is their current situation and their own reasons for doing so.
just enough about what the other person is doing so that he could jump right in whenever need be.
wow, i still do not believe that it just takes three simple steps to be top in internet business. for me, i have to really scratch my head.
It says three “Tips.” Obviously ever single business must take its own unique route, but some things do apply to all businesses.
you can only hire if you are running some good business, because programmers cost much..
Its always better to outsource and automate some work, infact I am doing so for lot of stuffs.
In business and in life, it’s also important to consider scaling down what’s not working. This becomes increasingly important as you scale up, because small distractions have an annoying way of becoming huge problems if they’re not dealt with early on.
