The release of iPhone 5, although anticipated came as not entirely a surprise for the spectators. Despite the crazy wait, rumors circulating about the features associated with Apple’s latest project have spoiled the fun. Yet again, netizens are not just anticipating for the release of iPhone 5 as the tech world buzzed about the release of iPad mini as well.
When the Apple media event took place, there was generous discussion about iPhone 5 features and iPod updates, while iPad mini did not get the same share of limelight than the other two did. Amidst the reviews and forums regarding iPhone 5 and iPod features, the mass are still uncertain whether the mentioned 23 rd October release will push through.
The Speculations
With the leaks going in on about Apple’s latest projects, different speculations were made. iPad mini is said to be shorter, lighter and slimmer than the latest version in the market. As to the specs, unlike to iPhone 5’s dead giveaway features, iPad mini’s features remain to be unseen. Then again, spectators, analysts and tech-geeks alike share different views.
Thus, it still boils down to hopes of iPad mini being more productive, features-packed and lightweight. Beyond that, spectators expect iPad mini to exceed the functionality of its predecessor and competitor.
While there are leaked photos about iPad mini, as of this writing, iPad mini’s features are still based on speculations or expectations.
The Market
Selling old Apple units does not only apply to iPhone units. Apple fanboys were hooked by the fever and sell iPad units that they have owned in preparation of the coming iPad mini debut. Gazelle buys 32 Gb Wifi, 3rd generation, 4G LTE at 400$. Depending on the condition and service provider, the price could get higher. Ebay offers the unit for up to 300$.
If you are interested in having your own iPad mini, then might as well jump off to the bandwagon and sell iPad the way most people do. Go online. You can get a good bargain and sell your unit fast and easy.If this does not suit you, you can sell your units personally to pawnshop who will appraise your unit accordingly.
All in all, the move to sell iPad units is not just triggered by the release alone but by most of the analysts’ presumed price that plays around 200-300$. As such, if iPad mini will hit off the shelves before the holidays, Apple will likely have skyrocket revenues by both iPhone 5 and iPad mini.

great, i can afford the price 300 dollar for the mini ipad
should be awesome I am looking forward to it š
Look at the spoof video, it’s funny
I think it’ll be along by the end of the Month. Supposedly, it’ll be 7.85 inches diagonal. Like the other commentors, I think the $300 price tag is a little steep
Yes, I am all ready to pick up the iPad mini, but I don’t have $300. š
Well, if the iPad Mini is just below $200, then I guess it would be worth having one, but if it is about $300, donāt you think itās a bit expensive?
I am joing the answers before… When it will be below $200, I will start think about buying one…
If ever this happens, this will be such an exciting way to end the year. I’m definitely sure that a lot of people will be lemming for the iPad mini š
I must say that it’s quite steep at $300, I’d like to think that they will probably surprise the world on the 23rd with this new must-have. Thanks!
I am going gaga over iPad mini… Waiting eagerly for it!!
weeeh. seems everyone is excited.
i guess they will release the ipad mini not long a time interval.
and yeah, speculated price is too steep.
I am thinking if it’s worth its price. However, those are some really great features!
I’m not sure if I am ready to shed off $300 for such a gadget! I would love to know more about the product first and how it can be useful to me.
I don’t really know how I feel about the iPad mini, considering it’s just the same thing except smaller. I mean, I understand the need for it to be compact, but it’s becoming more apparent that everything’s just a marketing ploy. I own a few Apple products and I’m happy with them, but I feel like the Apple fever has everyone so hooked that they’re dying to have the latest thing Apple puts out. I guess that means they’re doing their job effectively. $300 is a lot of money, so I don’t know if I’ll be shelling out that much for a smaller version of my iPad now. If they add interesting new features, though, I will take a look…
Now we’re all waiting for the iPad mini! iPhone5 was such a treat.
@Sandra, i agree with you about marketing ploy thing. was even surprised that the launch of iPad mini and 4 was in the same day.
fanboys will surely bleed themselves with such bucks.
To be honest, I am very glad that these gadgets have come to make things easier for us. But seriously, I don’t think i need any of them for now.
It’s long been rumored that the iPad Mini and the new iPhone — the 5, as many call it — would launch around the same time — around the end of September and beginning of October — but a new report says Apple may release the new iPhone and iPad sooner rather than later.
Iām not sure if I am ready to shed off $300 for such a gadget! I would love to know more about the product first and how it can be useful to me.
