More importantly, though, I wrote it in order to play my part in bringing bloggers back to the basics of business. Too many bloggers are out there trying to figure out how to make money with their blogs. Yet, consistently and routinely, they seemingly fail to think about the basics of how you make money.

I use a web site called StatCounter. It lets you put some script on your blog and then you can track visitors.
